I'm home right now and flipping back and forth between the Mets on WPIX, the Yanks on YES, and the Braves on TBS...just a little proof that I really do enjoy watching the sport, even when there aren't any baseballs involved.
Hey Zack, you said you won't be going to any Mets games until the 28th, thats too bad. Are you going to any Yankee games instead? I was wondering if their attendance is hurting at all right now with their struggles. 30-32 now, thats a big time losing record for the Yankees.

I am indeed planning to attend a couple of Yankees games this week. It seems like attendance IS down a bit from what it was a year or two ago...no doubt the team's sub-.500 performance has something to do with it, but they sold so many season tickets over the winter that it's probably not making as big a difference as we think. Just a theory. I haven't seen all the numbers.
If the Yankees and Mets were in town the same night, and had the same attendance at their games, which ballpark would you go to?
That's an excellent question. I'd go to Shea every time. It's cheaper. It's (generally) friendlier. It opens half an hour earlier for BP. I average more balls per game there. Luckily, though, I don't have to choose because the Mets are usually gone when the Yanks are on the road.
