It's better to "boo" in person.
It's 11:29am, and I just decided to drive (195 miles) to Camden Yards.I have the whole day free. Seems like a waste not to use it.
Plus, Palmeiro's suspension is done.
He might be back in the lineup tonight.
I thought it would be interesting to be there.
Anyway, I'm off.
Details tomorrow...
(101.5 hours until I'll be walking into Great American Ballpark.)

Kind of a roll of the dice your taking. It could be packed with people to "welcome" back Raffy, but it could be dead thanks to people not going in protest.
It'll be interesting how it turns out.

Yeah, dantv is right, it is a little gamble... but because of the Nationals, the Os attendance is down a third this year... I dont think it will be too crowded, especially against the Rangers

I watched the first couple of innings of the game last night. And it looks like his gamble worked. I didn't see many people there.

Do any MLB players read this blog? I mean I'm pretty curious if like Rick Reed reads this every day...Sorry to mention Rick Reed, but he was nice to me when he was a Met.

Other than the few dozen people who post comments here (none of whom are major leaguers), I have no idea who's reading this thing. I suspect there are lots of folks who read it because it IS just a couple clicks off the MLB.com home page, but I can't give you any numbers or names. I really hope (P)rick Reed is reading it and sobbing.
